Round Top entertainer's oasis w/POOL, Pond & more!

This was a very pretty property with lovely views of the sunset over the pond. It had ample seating areas inside and outside. The kitchen was good for serving on the large bar. The furnishings are nice and comfortable. However, one of the upstairs bedrooms was extremely hot and it never cooled down. We were offered no solution and it was not comfortable. There was no A/C in the glassed in porch so it is stifling in the summer. There are also quite a few smaller things that need maintenance throughout the property. We enjoyed our stay overall, but there are things that definitely need to be fixed. Also, a manual with instructions on how to turn on the outdoor lights, pool lights, and using the stove/oven correctly would be very helpful. It is a grand property that needs some tender loving care to be back to its original grandeur.

Amazing house and property! The house was Big enough for our family of four and two grandparents. Grandparents stayed in the pool house and we stayed in the main house. Hot tub heats very fast and was great when it rained. Kids would warm up in hot tub and then pop back into the pool. Property grounds were spacious and private. We saw a jack rabbit and lots of turtles. The kids caught literally 20 fish (baby perch) right off the back porch dock. My husband caught a decent size bass. The house is beautiful and has everything you could think of needing for your stay. The movie room has a huge tv and couch. We had a family movie night and used the sitting room for playing card games. Will return! Price is worth it for the space, hot tub-pool, fishing, and privacy.

We loved the cottage and location. Description was accurate and provided a perfect launch site for days of driving the start of the Hill Country. We would stay again.Issues surrounding the cleaning team and how the cottage was on arrival. Trash in front of the house greeted us along with other issues which I feel can be addressed by the property mgt team. They did try to address some issues the following day - we had already departed for the day and not there to allow entry.

I would 100% come back and hope that I do! The house was amazing! I loved the design! Bed was super comfy. The back porch was the best place to hang out with the large windows it was amazing!!! I l would love the come back in the summer, to use the pool. The pool was cold and I have no idea if there as heater it had leaves in. That was the only I think could use improvement was the out door furniture seems a bit disarrayed. But if that is the only thing that was an issue then i would say that is pretty darn good! Truly love it!! hostess was super attentive!!! and very kind!
