MidMod Bungalow 5BR Heated Pool

We rented out this property for my son to have a sleepover with a few friends. We confirmed this was ok with the host, and my son was very excited about having the space to have a sleepover with friends without his younger siblings around. The property was clean and beautiful, and the description was accurate. The pool was perfect for my son and his friends. Having so many bedrooms gave them the space to spread out if they wanted. However, two hours after check-in, when our party was already occupying the property, I received a call from the rental company that the host was still on property and they would need to cancel our reservation. I checked with my husband who said there was no one on property. The woman we spoke with confirmed the address. She asked to call back, and when she did, she told us that the host had made a mistake, and he was at a different property. Even though this interaction was short, it was very stressful for me as I wasn't sure what we would do if we were kicked off property at the last minute. I am also concerned that there was no confirmation of the address prior to the call. All communication before and after this call was great; this was the only hiccup in our stay.

It was difficult to rate this rental…love/hate. Trash all over the yard. Pool dirty. Low water. Playscape gross. Wires hanging. Bbq dirty…We never heard back from owner. We made cleanup ourselves. Interior was as expected! Except wet towels. Location check. Decor check. Comfort check. IF clean I’d recommend.

Not on a road that’s easy to walk because of the traffic. No sidewalks. Excellent location overall.

Spectacular all around. Great location, clean and had all the amenities. Host was on it. Will use again if I’m back in Austin again soon!

The host communicated well, and the house and pool wet exactly as described. The house was so cute and had all the space and amenities we needed. We LOVED that is so close to Zilker Park and all the trails. We went on a run every day. Awesome location.
